IT IS SEAWOOD VILLAGE PROPERTY POLICY TO RENT TO THE FIRST QUALIFIED APPLICANT.  THE FIRST QUALIFIED APPLICANT IS DEFINED AS THE FIRST APPLICANT THAT HAS MET OUR SCREENING REQUIREMENTS AND HAS MADE AN ACCEPTABLE, BY SEAWOOD VILLAGE PROPERTY, APPOINTMENT TO SIGN A RENTAL AGREEMENT.

  IF THERE IS MORE THAN ONE OCCUPANT, THEN FOR THIS PURPOSE, AN APPLICANT INCLUDES ALL OCCUPANTS.  IN OTHER WORDS IF ALL OCCUPANTS OF LEGAL AGE (18 YEARS) HAVE NOT COMPLETED AN APPLICATION AND MET OUR SCREENING REQUIREMENTS AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO SIGN A RENTAL AGREEMENT WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A QUALIFIED APPLICANT.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS  1. Establish credit record with paid as agreed report with at least two current revolving charge account opened for at least one year. 2. And/Or at least one previous acceptable rental reference of 8 months duration or longer indicating that rent was paid on time; no damages to the unit, noise or disturbance problems, pet problems and previous landlord would rent to applicant again.  3. Proof of income sufficient to pay rent and other living expenses. Roommates must show proof of sufficient income.  4. Employed with the same company for six (6) months or longer.   5. Pass a complete background and criminal check. We are sorry but we no longer accept HUD/Section 8 Vouchers.
